Today we have a great topic.

Speaker:

This is on how to handle difficult situations.

Speaker:

It's personally the way for me and how I've used meditation

Speaker:

to handle difficult situations.

Speaker:

I wanted to give you a little bit of snippet into my life today and also

Speaker:

show how meditation works for me, make it a little bit more clearer.

Speaker:

And of course, if meditation isn't your style, that's absolutely okay.

Speaker:

There would be other ways that you connect with yourself.

Speaker:

And we can look at how you can utilize whatever works for you, whatever

Speaker:

those activities are, but use them creatively that you can heal your

Speaker:

life, that you can overcome difficult situations, and make them a lot easier,

Speaker:

smoother, and sometimes even have more fruitful outcomes from them.

Speaker:

Let's dive in.

Speaker:

In terms of difficult situations, I was thinking of any conversation that

Speaker:

you would be having, let's say with a manager, with a partner, with your kids

Speaker:

as well, any disagreement on something.

Speaker:

Another example of difficult situations could be the media and getting disturbed

Speaker:

by something that you've read there.

Speaker:

Maybe you opened the newspaper and there was something that's really

Speaker:

shocking and very upsetting for your system, or you receive some news

Speaker:

that's very upsetting, there's a post that you see that causes you some

Speaker:

stress, that would be another example.

Speaker:

And finally, I think a last category could be, some people,

Speaker:

some situations that bug us.

Speaker:

Maybe you're afraid of heights or perhaps, you want to do something, but

Speaker:

there's something that holds you back.

Speaker:

There's a person or there's a situation that doesn't quite align with you.

Speaker:

We look at not all of these individually, but we'll tackle them in a big bucket

Speaker:

called difficult situations and see how can we have more seniority

Speaker:

in our life with any of this.

Speaker:

It's basically life, right?

Speaker:

Going up and down.

Speaker:

And this episode is around building that resilience around difficult situations

Speaker:

and not feeling as pushed over.

Speaker:

Also having a lot more power, a lot more sense of self in all of these situations.

Speaker:

The first way I look at any difficult situation, if I'm feeling triggered,

Speaker:

is I start exploring the why.

Speaker:

Or...

Speaker:

Basically, why do I have this?

Speaker:

Why am I attracting this?

Speaker:

My belief is that whatever I'm attracting, whatever is manifesting in

Speaker:

my life, somewhere I'm a match to it.

Speaker:

Somewhere I'm in vibrational alignment with that.

Speaker:

Now that might not be something that I've consciously done.

Speaker:

Of course, I don't want to feel offended or triggered.

Speaker:

I want to have the most peaceful life, like most people do.

Speaker:

But at the same time, there would probably be something in my past life or

Speaker:

something as a soul that I need to learn.

Speaker:

And there's some sort of, match that I have.

Speaker:

I'm a clairvoyant and I have gone to lots of psychic fairs, sometimes

Speaker:

online, sometimes in person as well.

Speaker:

And it's really amazing.

Speaker:

There will be, even if I'm doing an individual reading or if I'm doing a

Speaker:

reading in like a big dinner or something, the readings, the readies who will show

Speaker:

up, they'll always bring up something where I have a match within myself.

Speaker:

I will be looking at someone else and there will be something that

Speaker:

I'll be seeing in their spirit side and I'll go, oh gosh, okay, that's

Speaker:

what I need to look at as well.

Speaker:

It's funny.

Speaker:

And other times when I've approached other people as well for similar readings,

Speaker:

and now since I've been studying all of this for a while, I have a good

Speaker:

network when I do that, a lot of times we'll joke around, we'll go, okay, we

Speaker:

are seeing this because we are actually still matching there somewhere and

Speaker:

there's some pictures, there's some energy that we still need to clear up.

Speaker:

That's perhaps a thought for you, like why do you have this?

Speaker:

Let's say if you're having a disagreement with someone, the question could more be,

Speaker:

well, why are you having the disagreement?

Speaker:

What is the bigger lesson that you're supposed to learn?

Speaker:

Even if otherwise...

Speaker:

You look back at your life, you'll probably notice a pattern on a few things.

Speaker:

Personally for myself, I know that in terms of relationships, I have

Speaker:

really needed to learn to step up for myself, to look after myself, to be

Speaker:

able to talk around my own boundaries.

Speaker:

And each of my relationships, I felt I was getting a good deal at the time.

Speaker:

But then again and again and again, that was the learning for me.

Speaker:

Now, I could definitely go around and, think in my head that

Speaker:

all those people are problem.

Speaker:

That's why the relationship didn't work out.

Speaker:

And perhaps that would be part of the story.

Speaker:

The other part of the story is that I was the common denominator

Speaker:

in all of those relationships.

Speaker:

I was attracting all of those relationships.

Speaker:

And unless I worked on my own pattern of being able to speak up for myself,

Speaker:

of being able to talk around my own boundaries and say, Hey, this

Speaker:

is what I like, and this is what I don't like, personally, for me, the

Speaker:

relationship dial didn't move as much.

Speaker:

I want you to think on a similar angle, think a little bit beyond the

Speaker:

situation itself, like step back and try and think, is there a pattern?

Speaker:

Is there something that your soul is trying to teach you at a bigger level?

Speaker:

Now I'll give you another example, which actually sounds pretty simple.

Speaker:

I recently lost my fob, when you want to come up or go out of my house, it's like

Speaker:

an electronic fob that gives you access through the lifts and to the elevators,

Speaker:

through the garage and everything.

Speaker:

And I misplaced one of those.

Speaker:

Well for some time I didn't even look in my meditation space and I was trying

Speaker:

to find it, look at it all over my house and I couldn't find it I sat down

Speaker:

in my meditation space and grounded.

Speaker:

That's something actually that I'm going to talk about in the later part

Speaker:

of the episode as well, how I did that.

Speaker:

I grounded the fob.

Speaker:

Basically looked at my own resistance and why was I not able to get

Speaker:

a fob, like as simple as that?

Speaker:

Why was I not able to find it?

Speaker:

And I cleared up whatever resistance I had within myself.

Speaker:

Forgot about it because I did this meditation almost sleepy

Speaker:

before I was going to bed.

Speaker:

And in the morning I got up with, like, the normal things, the

Speaker:

normal routine of the day, and on.

Speaker:

And there it was.

Speaker:

I found the fob.

Speaker:

Like, without even really putting as much of thought to it, and on.

Speaker:

I needed to clear up something in me.

Speaker:

I was angry.

Speaker:

A little bit angry, a little bit frustrated with myself.

Speaker:

How could I have been careless?

Speaker:

Why did I do this?

Speaker:

Very, very simple emotions that probably a lot of us can have.

Speaker:

But I needed to process those emotions, release those.

Speaker:

And the moment I released them, the moment I became ok with myself, I found the fob..

Speaker:

That's a very simple example around why we are attracting

Speaker:

certain difficult situations.

Speaker:

My example is around a fob.

Speaker:

Your example, your experience could be around somebody else or any other

Speaker:

situation, particularly situations where you feel, hey, you're getting them again.

Speaker:

Like you found a similar person again, you found a similar boss again.

Speaker:

I want you to think why.

Speaker:

and a bigger why than that person.

Speaker:

Look at, hey, what is my lesson here?

Speaker:

What is it that I need to work on?

Speaker:

And then that's your resistance bit.

Speaker:

That's what I'll share later on in the episode, in this very episode

Speaker:

as well, how we can clear that.

Speaker:

Everything is like an experience.

Speaker:

I believe that as spirits our purpose is to experience.

Speaker:

and evolve, to experience life and then to evolve as spirits.

Speaker:

What I mean by that is, that like in the real world, we sometimes go out and have

Speaker:

different cuisines, try them out, or we'll have different experiences, like

Speaker:

maybe we'll go bungee jumping or we'll go river rafting or we'll take a walk and

Speaker:

that's trying to explore some newness.

Speaker:

The same way I feel the soul or the reason why we were born as a spirit, we

Speaker:

want to experience different things and then have a sense of achievement that

Speaker:

okay this happened and I know how to tackle the situation in the body as well.

Speaker:

It's not something really serious.

Speaker:

It's something more exploratory if you will, it's something trying to

Speaker:

learn trying to have fun in life Think of dreams for example every

Speaker:

night we have some dreams we get up in the morning We don't even remember

Speaker:

them Or maybe we do sometimes.

Speaker:

Life goes on and the dream is a dream.

Speaker:

For our spirits, I sort of feel like each of our life or life experiences, they're

Speaker:

like these little dream snippets as well.

Speaker:

It's not super serious.

Speaker:

The soul looks at that, goes like I tasted that.

Speaker:

I had this experience with person A that felt really sad.

Speaker:

Okay, that's what that feels like.

Speaker:

Maybe then the soul goes, does something else, goes out of the

Speaker:

beach and goes like, wow, I really liked getting my feet wet and on.

Speaker:

That was a fun experience.

Speaker:

But it's not really going as if the sad was bad, the happy was beautiful.

Speaker:

The soul's purpose, or the spirit's purpose of evolution is simply

Speaker:

evolution, is simply getting that seniority, getting that power

Speaker:

with all of the situations, is...

Speaker:

Going like, well, that happened and look, I could have my head

Speaker:

held high and I could do this.

Speaker:

I could still have seniority there.

Speaker:

I still had my power.

Speaker:

That's that.

Speaker:

It's not super serious at a spirit level.

Speaker:

The soul is trying to simply experience and evolve.

Speaker:

Now moving on to grounding and how I use it to release resistance and to become

Speaker:

more accepting of the change myself.

Speaker:

As we get into it, grounding is like one of my favorite tools.

Speaker:

Every single day I am grounding.

Speaker:

Every single time I meditate this is like the first tool and

Speaker:

they're often meditations where I will sit down and ground like,

Speaker:

spend the whole time grounding.

Speaker:

You probably have heard of grounding, or you've come across the

Speaker:

definition, in some sense, anyway.

Speaker:

Because usually when we're speaking, we'll say, Oh, like, this person is grounded.

Speaker:

Or we'll say something like, Well, when I went for the bushwalk, I

Speaker:

felt really grounded and centered.

Speaker:

That gives you a clue already.

Speaker:

Grounding is around feeling grounded.

Speaker:

feeling centered.

Speaker:

And how we do it in the meditation space is we imagine that there's a connection

Speaker:

from us to the center of the earth.

Speaker:

Typically the connection is from the first chakra in our body, which is

Speaker:

the root chakra, it's survival chakra.

Speaker:

It's literally around a safety security on earth.

Speaker:

It's having everything on earth feeling okay and having or imagining

Speaker:

a connection with the earth.

Speaker:

When I Imagine this connection, and it doesn't have to be a deep trance,

Speaker:

you can close your eyes but definitely if you feel like, hey, I'm not doing

Speaker:

it perfectly, that's absolutely fine.

Speaker:

It does not need to be perfect.

Speaker:

As a spirit, everything that you are doing is in the right direction.

Speaker:

It's exactly at the right place that you are supposed to be at.

Speaker:

It's exactly at the right speed.

Speaker:

It's absolutely fine.

Speaker:

Take that pressure off.

Speaker:

The spirit is very fluid in that sense, In the physical world as such, we

Speaker:

really evaluate ourselves and we go like, well, did I do this right or not?

Speaker:

Was this perfect or not?

Speaker:

When you are in the meditation space, it doesn't have to be perfect.

Speaker:

It can be very simple, very playful.

Speaker:

The more playful you keep it actually, the better it is.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

As you're grounding you imagine like there's this connection with the

Speaker:

earth and all I'll do is I'll have an intention that the earth can take away

Speaker:

any negativity, it can take away any charge, it can take away any emotions,

Speaker:

anything that's not serving me.

Speaker:

Now the beauty with that is that I don't even know what is getting grounded.

Speaker:

I'll still be releasing a whole lot more.

Speaker:

As I've practiced over the years.

Speaker:

I know that I now have more awareness about grounding than I did when I first

Speaker:

started, and even then I get really amazed with how much we ground, with all the

Speaker:

classes that I have done and when I've shared this tool around grounding, then

Speaker:

I noticed that everyone is releasing a whole lot more than they realize.

Speaker:

And that's probably the beauty with grounding as well.

Speaker:

You can do it anywhere.

Speaker:

Let's do a mini meditation today because this time, in this episode,

Speaker:

I really wanted to give you tools and ways to have a better life

Speaker:

without having to go to someone else.

Speaker:

When you're ready, and when you are in a safe space, then I would

Speaker:

encourage you to take 10 minutes and I'll share this tool with you.

Speaker:

Ready means that you need to have a space where you can be quiet,

Speaker:

where nobody's going to disturb you.

Speaker:

I would also highly encourage that don't do this while you're driving.

Speaker:

Because sometimes the energy release can be really a lot and it

Speaker:

might get you unconscious and you don't want to have any accident.

Speaker:

You want to be really safe be in a safe space be in a space where you can

Speaker:

close your eyes be in a space where you can let go Of your attention for

Speaker:

10 minutes won't be longer than that.

Speaker:

Join me when you're ready.

Speaker:

Cool, so let's imagine that you are in a place where you are by yourself, where

Speaker:

you can take some time for yourself.

Speaker:

All right, so sit down, put your feet on the floor, and breathe,

Speaker:

exhale, let whatever stress you have, let that get out.

Speaker:

And you can imagine the difficult situation that you're struggling

Speaker:

with at the minute as well.

Speaker:

You can have an intention that whatever difficult situation you have, whatever

Speaker:

you're carrying in your body around this situation, that you can release it.

Speaker:

Imagine there's a connection that goes from where you're sitting

Speaker:

right to the centre of the earth.

Speaker:

Sometimes I imagine that the chair that I'm sitting on, that extends all the

Speaker:

way down to the centre of the earth.

Speaker:

And then let the earth take away anything that is not serving you.

Speaker:

You know the earth nourishes us.

Speaker:

It looks after us, everything that we have right now in this body is on earth.

Speaker:

We live, breathe on earth, we get our food on earth, we stay on earth, we have

Speaker:

our house, we have our car, everything on earth, so earth's supporting us.

Speaker:

And allow the earth to help you.

Speaker:

You can say that, hey, I've got some negative emotions.

Speaker:

I've got some charge, release that, take that all the way

Speaker:

down to the centre of the earth.

Speaker:

Breathe.

Speaker:

And again, the focus doesn't have to be really sharp, even if your mind

Speaker:

wanders, that's okay, bring it back.

Speaker:

And maybe imagine that as you sit down, as you relax, from your

Speaker:

body, you have like little ribbons going into the center of the earth.

Speaker:

And all of these ribbons are stuff that doesn't serve you.

Speaker:

So these ribbons could be maybe somebody else's idea, somebody else's

Speaker:

thought, anything that makes you feel really frustrated, anxious about

Speaker:

the situation, let that release.

Speaker:

Watch the ribbons go.

Speaker:

And you don't have to know what they are for, you can imagine that they're ribbons

Speaker:

going away from your body and getting all the way to the centre of the earth.

Speaker:

The earth's got a nice gravitational pull, so it takes all of them,

Speaker:

takes all that negative energy that doesn't serve you, and takes it all

Speaker:

the way to the centre, away from you giving you a nice safe space.

Speaker:

So as this happens, you can let go of ideas of others, ideas of even yourself,

Speaker:

that are not in your highest good.

Speaker:

You can let them go away, breathe.

Speaker:

If you feel there are any energy blocks, let them go.

Speaker:

Anything in your space that holds you, that makes you feel a little tight or a

Speaker:

little icky, you can let that go as well.

Speaker:

Watch it being released.

Speaker:

Imagine the earth takes it away and then with that, as the earth takes that

Speaker:

away, there's a beautiful nourishing energy that comes from the earth and

Speaker:

then that starts flowing up as well.

Speaker:

This is this beautiful life giving earth energy and that starts flowing

Speaker:

up your feet, comes up all the way to your first, then makes a little

Speaker:

loop, goes back again into the earth, but cleans you, cleanses you.

Speaker:

You can imagine that as the earth energy comes up, it cleans anything, any of the

Speaker:

cracks, any of the dirty places where you needed to let something go, any of those

Speaker:

nooks and corners, it takes away all the grime from there and fills it up with

Speaker:

beautiful earth energy and brings it up.

Speaker:

Watch that flow, or feel that flow flowing into you.

Speaker:

And that's grounding.

Speaker:

That's where you're grounding yourself.

Speaker:

And now as you run this, think of the difficult situation that you're facing as

Speaker:

well, and keep running the earth energy.

Speaker:

But imagine that as you run the earth energy, That your difficult situation,

Speaker:

it's getting eased, you know, all the resistance that you feel for it or

Speaker:

whatever, it's not flowing very well in your body, it starts flowing really well.

Speaker:

You don't have to solve it in the meditation space.

Speaker:

That's the funny part.

Speaker:

So if you feel like, hey, I want to like solve it or analyze

Speaker:

this, you don't have to do that.

Speaker:

Play like a little three year old kid.

Speaker:

Even if you do something wrong, these meditations are so simple and so

Speaker:

powerful either way that even if you are not doing them right, they're right.

Speaker:

They are working exactly how they're supposed to do because at a

Speaker:

spirit level, you know what to do.

Speaker:

So imagine there's like a loop that's coming up of earth energy in your space,

Speaker:

it's coming up from the earth, it's nourishing you, it's filling you up, it's

Speaker:

giving you everything that you need to have, to have your say in the difficult

Speaker:

situation, to make it easier for you, to make it smoother for you, to make it a

Speaker:

lot better experience for you as well.

Speaker:

Breathe, breathe and keep imagining the flow and watch the flow till

Speaker:

it becomes really easy and smooth and then as that happens you can

Speaker:

also shake your body a little bit.

Speaker:

You released a whole lot of energy so you can give yourself permission to move

Speaker:

a little bit, shake a little bit more and let the stagnant energy get away.

Speaker:

The earth's doing a wonderful job at releasing any stress, any anxiety in

Speaker:

your space, any, anything that was causing you any sense of trauma, all of

Speaker:

that's getting released when you ground.

Speaker:

So I highly encourage you to ground.

Speaker:

And when you're ready, then you can open your eyes.

Speaker:

And congratulate yourself for the beautiful job that you've done.

Speaker:

Good, good job.

Speaker:

So grounding is definitely really powerful.

Speaker:

I would ask you to notice your situation, whatever you worked on.

Speaker:

I would ask you to notice how that has shifted since your meditation.

Speaker:

Sometimes, some situations can be really charged as well.

Speaker:

Typically, like something that you're attracting at a family level, they

Speaker:

can have a little bit more charge.

Speaker:

Your life patterns can have a little bit more charge as well.

Speaker:

And then you might need to do things a little bit more.

Speaker:

Like you might need to ground a little bit more.

Speaker:

You might need to do some other tools as well.

Speaker:

But grounding is definitely a really, really great start.

Speaker:
